Our Pitch

Pitch A: A star's career starts rising but something is holding her back 
Pitch B: A silly prank goes wrong, who takes the fall? 
 
 
Pitch A: We think that pitch A would be a great idea to record, and we think we could make it engaging. Our experience recording this could be really fun and allow us to enjoy this process. In addition, pitch A may potentially take a variety of paths and directions. For example, we may create it in comedy or horror. We believe we can truly bring this to reality because we are enthusiastic about it, and it stems from an inside joke. It would also be simple to produce because we already have most of the props, we believe we could need. 
Pitch B: Our group believes that Pitch B would be fun to film. Our idea of this pitch is along the comical side with a twist. This allows for a creative idea with a hint of mystery. We feel as if, when producing the film, we will have a great time. This idea allows for endless opportunities of direction as well. It may be seen as comedic relief to some and puzzling to others. We believe that with this pitch, we will certainly be able to explore the different aspects of film-making and production, while enjoying ourselves and the experience. 
Since we believe we have more to build off this idea, we have decided to go with  
Pitch B: A silly prank goes wrong, who takes the fall?

Title Design : Final Task

  The opening  credits  of my  film  will appear in  an  old timey font that  appears to be  smeared or bloody, setting the tone for the genre of our film: horror.  I would like to either have these credits fade in or fade out depending on which scene the credit appears on. For the ending  credits , I am thinking about making it bold and pop out  with a scary sound effect  as the opening sequence ends  in  a scary scene.    - Working title: The title of this film will likely be : “   - The title will be bold and, in all caps, most likely red to represent the haunting color of blood. Possibly - - SOMETHING LIKE THIS or something will boldly edges.   - Titles will be either fading in/out while some may pop out at you.   - Titles will disappear after about 3-4 seconds on screen.   - Depending on the part of the scene, the colors will vary from black and red to possible mixed ...

Production Blog : Filming

 Hey blog I am back again! I have an update as to where we are with our filming for the movie opening. If you recall, I told you how my brother, along with Hailey and Kylee and I, are participating in the film. Hailey filmed the first few scenes, and then had to relocate to her house. At her house, either her sister or my brother would film her in the scenes. In the scenes where my brother and Hailey both appeared, we had her sister, Kaitlyn, assist with filming. We continued filming on another day. Or should I say a scary night!  So, at this point we are filming the second portion of the film. Hailey is located in her room, about to sit down at her desk. We use her laptop to join a google meet call with Kylee and I. In later blogs we will share the technology and creativity behind the use of google meet, and its role in the opening sequence.
