Production Blog : Location

Hey blog! It's Marissa once again, talking to you lovely folks. Today I will discussing some locations and "sets"' chosen for our opening sequence. It surely wasn't a difficult time choosing where we were going to film, but it took a little bit of time. For the last project, my groupmates and I had no idea where we were filming. We were in between a friends house, a friend of a moms house, or one of ours. We sort of waited too long, and didn't receive confirmation from anyone, so we ended up filming at my house. So, similar to last, we were in between a friends house or one of ours. Since we used my house last time, we decided to use it again as one of the locations. However, for our opening sequence we needed a separate location. So, we chose Hailey's house as the other place. Although Kylee's house is much closer to mine, Hailey's sister is helping film, and we didn't want to inconvenience her by leaving her home. It wasn't that much of a haste because Hailey and I live around 10 minutes away anyway.

At my house, we filmed outside, around the neighborhood. Me and Kylee would be there for a few scenes. We also filmed inside, where my brother, Jonathan, was for the first few scenes.

The opening sequence was set to be filmed at Hailey's house for the majority. At her house, there really was no set area. Throughout the scenes, Hailey was constantly moving throughout her house. She was in her room, hallway, by the door, by the window, standing outside. She could've been on the roof for all I know!

Anyway bloggers! Choosing the location of our film this time wasn't as time consuming or stressful. We had an idea of where we were going to work, and went through with our assignment once we confirmed. Having the locations close to one another was very helpful for my groupmates and even the participants!

I feel like if I don't

stop talking now, I'll keep y'all forever! Once again, thank you for tuning in, and I'll see you lovely people soon
