Script for Final Task

 Walking around the neighborhood  

Marissa 

 I can’t wait for tonight. It’s gonna be so fun. 

Kylee 

Yea same... It’s definitely going to be something.  

Marissa 

 *Looks intrigued* Kylee what are you talking about? 

Kylee 

Well, I have an idea and you can't tell Hailey. 

Marissa 

Okay. What is it 

Kylee 

Remember how scared Hailey was when we watched Scream the other night? 

Marissa 

*Laughs* OMG yes. The girl literally ran out of the room. I still can’t believe she did that... Wait so what’s the idea? 

Kylee 

I’m thinking we get _________ to dress up as ghost face and scare her when she's home alone.  

Marissa 

I like that but you know what would make it even better? 

Kylee  

 What? 

Marissa 

*Whispers in Kylee’s ear. * 

 

Marissa’s House 

NO DIALOUGE 

Marissa 

 *Calls _________ and gives them the plan* 

*Hands Ghostface mask* 

 Other Character (not sure) 

*Puts the mask on* 

 

 

Hailey’s House  

Hailey 

 *Walks in and sits down. Opens computer and starts typing* 

*RING RING* 

Kylee 

What's up? Yall almost ready?  

Marissa 

I am. Hailey did you just get out the shower?  

Hailey 

Yeah, I just have to braid my hair and do my makeup. I’ll be ready in like 30 minutes. 

Kylee 

Girl 30 minutes.... We have to go now so we're not late. 

Hailey 

Girl calm down. I’ll be done soon. 

  *Hears multiple and rapid doorbell rings* 

Who was that... Guys I’ll be right back. Don’t hang up. 

 

   

  Hailey 

 *Walks to door and opens it* 

   Other character 

 *_________ run across* 

  * Hailey screams and slams the door* 

  SPLIT SCREEN 

Hailey 

*Slowly open door again and looks around* 

 Other character 

*Gets dragged in the bushes and real killer takes the mask* 

   

  END OF SPILT SCREEN 

Hailey 

*Closes door and runs to room* 

Guys, some crazy thing ran across the yard. I’m freaking out I don’t know what to do. Nobody's home  

  Marissa 

*Laughs* Got ya!  

Kylee 

  *Laughs* You should have just seen your face. 

Hailey 

What are you guys talking about! 

Marissa 

 It was just _______. Relax  

  *Ghostface walks up* 

Marissa 

_____ you can stop now. 

*Ghostface pulls out knife* 

_______?!? 

Hailey 

*Slowly turns around* 

Ghostface 

 *Raises up knife to stab Hailey*

Production Blog: Editing

 Hello Blog! I'm back, and this time with more progress on the editing of our opening sequence. Kylee, our dedicated editor decided it would be best to split up the project to work into sections. It made a lot of sense to Hailey and I. In a sense that it would initially help the editing process run more efficiently. And if anything were to go wrong anyway, we had the project shared, and were able to collaborate right in the moment. The idea of splitting sections also allowed involvement from all group members in one aspect or another. Kylee was quick about her selected section. She claimed to edit the ending scenes because she enjoyed them most. She said watching it was intruiging, and it would be the enjoyable to edit. We didn't compete nor complain with her pick, because she was the initial editor. So, it was kind of what kylee wants, kylee gets, type of situation! LOL.  Hey blog! Its Marissa again here, and I am officially done with my commercial! I hope it was entertaining to watch. I am here to reflect on the experience and creation of the video. I first started off with the technological device of a Ipad. I chose the Ipad because its not as big as a computer, has many features, and has editing software other computers may not have. I used the editing software of Cap cut to then publish my commercial. I did actually have my phone, to select pictures from my camera roll and send videos as well. I chose my Ipad not only because of the ease of maneuvering it, but because I have alot of storage on my Ipad. After downloading capcut on my Ipad, I explored this app and was able to find my way around it, implementing photos and videos to then make my commercial. During the process of putting the commercial I would like to believe I learned alot. I learned to not only edit, but the steps it takes to publish a proper commercial. This commercial showed me...

Production Blog : Music

 Hello blog I'm back! Each time we talk, the closer we are to sharing our opening sequence. It is all coming together piece by piece. The next step into our project, was selecting our music. My teacher informed the class that we either had the chance of using owned music or audios off of royalty free music. However, with owned music, you must contact the company or actual owners to be granted permission to use their sound. We would have to receive an email stating the confirmation before we were able to continue with our project. After me and my groupmates discussed, we decided that we don't know how long we'd have to wait to hear back or if they would charge anything. We were only hesitant about royalty free music because the sound choices would be on the generic side. There was a chance of others having either similar, or the same song choices for their opening sequences or movies already out there.  However, it was all going to work out!
